If I skip my white pills and continue taking the yellow ones will I skip my period and still be protected from pregnancy?? ## Yes and unless your doctor has instructed you otherwise, it is perfectly safe to do this, once in awhile. Many women do it to control when they have their menstrual cycle, so it doesn't occur when it's inconvenient, such as when they are getting married, or going on vacation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Nope thank you :) ## I am getting married next weekend, next week is when I'm suppose to start my white pills by reading the reviews it looks like my period would start and would roll over to the weekend ( not good). My question is if I skip the last week (white pills ) and start my new pack would that skip or delay my period?? Please hel...

Mom gave me pills that she claims are a narcotic and that's why they're not in the container because she threw it away. It is birth control size and says watson on one side and just a p on the other. What is it really? Like the actual name of it. ## It's not a narcotic, those are birth control pills, they are called Necon 1/35. They contain Ethinyl estradiol and Norethindrone. Is there anything else I can help with?

If I get my period while still on the "active" pills do I continue to take them as normal? Is that an overdose of hormones? ## No, it is not an overdose, breakthrough bleeding is actually a normal side effect of hormonal contraceptives and can occur for the first few months you are taking them. And yes, you should continue taking them, just as normal. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm on my white pills of Necon 1 35 right now and still no period. What does that mean? Should I be worried? ## It is normal for your body to still skip or be late, sometimes, even when using birth control. There is a very slight possibility that you could be pregnant, but if you have used them as directed, then it is not very likely. Are there any comments or questions?
