I am suffering from major depression, anxiety disorder and OCD. My doctor is now trying me on Epitec. I started taking 25mg Epitec last night and woke up this morning to chattering teeth! Could the teeth chattering be caused by the Epitec and will this go away as my body gets used to the drug? - Filed in Antidepressant

Not too bad. It is more than 24 hours since I took my first dose and I did notice that shortly after the teeth chattering, I felt nauseous for a few hours.

I took the latest dose about 3 hours ago and will see what happens when I wake up in the morning. I am also taking 30mg of Lexamil at the same time.

Thanks for the response :-)
That may be a seizure induced by the Epitec and there is a chance that it could get dangerous.

Thus, you really should talk to your doctor, as soon as possible, to discuss the issue. It may not be the right medication for you to take.

It isn't always dangerous, so I don't want to alarm you, but it is best to have it checked out.

How are you feeling now?

Learn more Epitec details here.
