My husband and I are trying to conceive, and to remedy my intense headaches, severe cramping, and heavy menstuation my doctor gave me a 3-week sample of Minivelle. Everything I have read states this drug is used during menopause. Why, then, has my doctor chose this for me at 25 while trying to conceive? ## Even the manufacturer&#39;s webpage directly states that Minivelle (estradiol transdermal system) is a prescription medicine patch that contains estradiol (an estrogen hormone), used to treat moderate to severe hot flashes due to menopause.
