So I just stated Sprintec this month. I had previously been on Ortho-cyc for bout a year and switched due to Sprintec being cheaper and wanted to try something else for my horrible cramps! My doctor recommended this also because I can have a period only once every 3 months!! I started the pack right on schedule and as soon as my last pill came for that pack, (got my period) iI figuref it was just my body being used to bleeding ike clockwork... I figured I would just continue to the next pack as instructed to skip my period, and it would just go away after a few days die to taking my next pack of pills. Sigh... Didn't work continued to take the pills and still continued to ride my menstrual wave out. Now today is Sunday, my period should have been done Friday. I'm still sort of bleeding but its barely there, just enough for it to be gross to have sex. And not necessary to wear a tampon, just a panty liner for normal leakage just that its slightly discoloured (due to blood)... Should I just give it a few days and see it it stops... Is itjis normal? and my body was just not used to the hormone during my cycles? Also, should I not try to skip it this month since it clearly didn't work, my body must not want to skip it huh? Stupid lady stuff... Ugghh... Men really don't understand either! my b/f's like WTF - Filed in Sprintec

Yes, it is completely normal to do this due to the adjustment your body is making to the hormones and it can take about 3 months for things to balance back out.

Whether or not you want to try to skip, again, is up to you. There is no harm in it, unless your doctor specifically tells you not to do so.

https://rxchat.com/wiki/Sprintec/

And men will be asking you that for the rest of your life, so you might as well get used to it! :-)

Is there anything else I can help with?
