	<description>I have been taking levothyroxine 50mcg for 1 week. I've being taking care of my self, watch what I eat and I try to walk every day 20 to 30 mint. My weight before I start levothyroxine was 138lbs and know I weight 130lbs in just one week! Is that ok?? or what do guys think? - Filed in Levothyroxine</description>

One way to know for sure would be to weigh yourself in the morning as well as in the evening. If your weight fluctuates it's likely that you lost water weight that eventually would need to be replenished.  &lt;br/&gt;  &lt;br/&gt; If it is fat then that's great :) but I do find 8lbs in a week to be a bit too high to be &quot;only&quot; fat.
