I have 7-8 inches of small intestine. I had a total colectomy. I've been on TPN for 6 years and my liver is being affected. I am on hydration all day. Nothing I eat or drink stays with me more than a minute. Food comes out as it goes in. Gattex is my last chance at life,it's been 3 weeks since I went to Docs and filled out paperwork for this med.
