My daughter found half a dark green pill no markings on either side and cannot tell if it is broken at a scored line or not. It is a very large pill however. One that I usually call "a horse pill" because it is so big. I have looked on several pill ID tools including Epocrates to no avail because there are no markings. This is slightly suspect. - Filed in Vitamins & Supplements

Yes, Kenie is correct, just because it doesn't have markings on it, does not mean it is suspicious. Over the counter products are not included in the FDA law requiring markings, they only require it on manufactured prescription products. Thus, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products, such a a vitamin, or herb, as was already mentioned.

Given the size, my best guess would be that it is some type of multivitamin, though there's no way to be sure. The best thing to do is just dispose of it.

Is there anything I can help with?

It's clearly not a pharmaceutical product manufactured for use in the U.S. since all rxs must contain a formal ID imprint By law. Sounds like it may be a supplement or herbal product
