I'm in the process of changing HBP meds and am currently on all three - Enalapril(new), Atenolol and HCTZ. This past week I have experienced a bass register hearing problem. Could this be connected to my meds? ## What are you changing from and what are you switching to? Hearing issues are not a normal side effect of these medications. The FDA reports them as typically cause drowsiness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. However, there is no way to say how any given medication will affect anyone that takes it. Have you consulted your doctor? Did they have any ideas of what might have caused this issue?
