My 92 year old mother used Darvocet for extreme back pain until it was removed from the market. She only used it when she felt pain coming on, not continually. No more than 2 per day when in pain and never had trouble while taking it. Now she is often bed bound because of her pain. Is there any other medication that might work for extreme pain like hers? Her life has changed dramatically since she can't use Darvocet. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it!
