I go to a methadone clinic and am urine tested on a regular basis. I have never had clonezepam show up on my 12 panel drug screen after 5 days and I'm a heavy benzo user. Now xanax takes 7 days to get out of urine and for Valium I was failing for benzos for two months straight. Lorazepam I can have out in 2-3 days. Hope this helps!

4 to 7 days depending on how much you used. If you were a heavy user like 20+ mg a day you may need 10+ days to completely clear your system...and forget those stupid detox system products that are simply a rip off.

Klonopin (clonazepam) does NOT have a six hour half-life. Try 18-50 hours. It's an intermediate to long-acting benzodiazepine.

Since you have Internet access, it might be better to do your own search on this drug rather than get this kind of misinformation.

Where they will probably put you on diazepam(valium) for alcohol withdraw, sorry its a vicious cycle.

What happened w your urine test, did you pass? Thanks, I have one in 2 weeks and I took 10 of the .5 mg over a few days.

im going into alcohol rehab,need to be completely off clonazepam. I've been on 1 to 1/2 mg. for one year, tapered down to 1/4 for 5 days. Im going to be drug tested tomorow. Is it out of my system, hopefully!

clonazepam 1mg i been on this drug for 3 years i tryed to get off of it i went cold turkey for 12 days coulnd see bones hurt desspressed sarec nervis sick my heart pains my left side of my face stared pulling allmost ad strock is there and meds that you can take and get read of with draws i all most died i hate this med but how do you stop it stared shutting my brain down i went comatoast 5 or 6 time please help me iam tired of this meds god please someone help me my body can take it with it or with out it what do i do my life is in danger no matter what please help i cant see good who the hel would make this drug i wish i new connie bates

I was on clonazepamn .25/day for 4 years. I wanted to stop taking them. My doctor said I could begin by slowly reducing the dosage. He didn't give me specifics though. I began taking 1/2 pill/day for a couple of weeks, then 1/2 pill/ every other day for a couple of weeks, and so on. I was expecting withdrawal symptoms but did not have any negative effects.

its all up to your body weight and your metabolic rate, plus if you fast for a few days after your usage and go on a water diet, that helps flush your liver because there are no sugars or foods to break down leaving your liver to work effectively of removing the toxin, but usually 3-4 days if it has been used therapeutically , like she said that half life is one hundred percent correct. long term use may take a while- hope that helps

i have searched this question ALOT and found every one varys some say benzo's stay with you a week and others say 1 - 3 days I wish I could find a 100% sure answer.............does any one know for sure if you do I would love to know so please REPLY to this discussion,,,,,,,,,,,, THANX

Klonopin has a half life of approximately six hours, which is the time it takes for your body to metabolize and for the medication to leave from your body. Typically Klonopin lasts in your system for up to 30 hours.

IF I take 4.5 milligrams of klonopin friday and i weight 330 pounds how many days before it is out of my system and i am clean as of know.

Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine derivative with highly potent anticonvulsant, muscle relaxant, and anxiolytic properties. It can possibly stay in your system for up to 3 days depending on how many you take it a day and the miligrams.

i was on it for over a year. tried several times to stop, it's bad for a few days, makes you feel like your walking on clouds & out of it mentally. i suggest taper off weekly, down to a 1/4 pill a day.
then stop and try to do it when you can just be home a couple days.
that finally helped me.
