I am receiving Ceftazidime 2x daily for 7 days by midline IV for a chronic Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection of my kidney stones. This is my fourth course of treatment with Ceftazidime in the last 5 months. I have completed day 4 and I have begun experiencing episodes of short-term memory loss. It is also used in the empirical therapy of febrile neutropenia, in combination with other antibiotics.
