I have two plain white oblong pills with no markings on them at all. What could they be? ## @Rwsgirl, Just curious, whereabouts did you get the pills from? Unfortunately there are a wide variety of things this could be due to how broad the description is. I have both calcium and magnesium tablets that share this same depiction. Not to mention the numerous other over-the-counter supplements, illicit drugs and foreign medications that don't require pill imprints like the FDA demands for pharmaceuticals here in the US. So I think once you determine their origin, then other pertinent details might also fall into place more easily... In the meantime I would probably contemplate getting these pills analyzed by a lab and/or drug panel just to have to added clarification as to what drug cat...

I have trouble swallowing pills due to a narrowed throat. My round 250 mg magnesium tablets are sometimes hard to get down. Does anyone know of an oval magnesium tablet, or are they all round? Thanks. ## There are a wide variety of magnesium supplements; some are in pill form and some are in powdered form that you can easily empty and stir into a glass of water. I've personally used the powdered packets that you put in your water and they have good flavor as well. As far as the shape or look of a pill goes, the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, so you'd really just have to search around and try all the brands out there till you find one that is reasonable for you to take.
