I found out that I was allergic to this when my dentist put desensitizer on my teeth...my lips swelled like a duck! I am also a scrub nurse and been having trouble with the CHG scrub and the cavacide.... I found a relation to the cavacide to benzalkonium...however I am interested in finding out if this drug is related to any similar families that would also make me swell. I am slowly finding answers...also I have never been given the TDaP shot until 2 days ago and my lips swelled again like a duck...
