Problem is, I feel terrible, weight gain, bloated, cravings, grumpy you name it. If I stop taking them right now, will it instantly trigger my cycle so I get my period before my trip? I leave for my trip in ten days. ## It won&#39;t instantly trigger it, but it you will probably start your period in a day or two, after you stop taking them. It is hormonal contraceptive, so the side effects you experienced are normal and will taper off, once your body gets used to the medication.
