Thank you in advance for you help! ## From what I could gather, there is a medication by the name of Chinta that reportedly contains a combination of: Ammonium Chloride + Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Liquorice + Vitamin B5 (Calcium Pantothenate). Apparently it is indicated for use in treating dry and itchy skin. Unfortunately I haven't found any other specific details pertaining to the origin or appearance of this medication; but I hope this at least helps to provide some sort of evidence or clues as to what you may have there. Please post back if you find out any additional information.

How are you? Most likely there isn't any difference. Many of them are exactly the same and even made by the same manufacturers. That's why you can take veterinary prescriptions to your regular pharmacy to have them filled. You just shouldn't take anything limited to just veterinary use, or give your dog anything that's not intended to be used in canines. This one is usually used topically, so the most common side effects, in both canines and people, may include skin redness, irritation, dryness and rash, as listed by the FDA. Is there anything else I can help with?
