I just had surgery and was prescribed Tramacet. They're making me feel sick. I want to switch to my Tylenol No. 3. How long should I wait between them before I start the Tylenol 3? ## If your doctor approves of you switching, you should be able to just switch at your next normal dose time, but you should follow their instructions to be sure of your safety. The FDA warns that Acetaminophen with Codeine carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. ref: Medline Plus Acetaminophen and Codeine Are you on any other medications?

what does acetaminophn-tramadol come up as in your system on a drug test? ## It actually shouldn't be detected as anything. The Tramadol is not a straight opiate, though it does work on the same receptors in the brain to treat pain and is not a substance that is currently included for testing on the standard drug tests. It may cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. More details: Are there any other questions? ## When I was drug tested , tramadol did not come up at all. only my ativan. I think because it is non synthetic
