They are just manufactured by different pharmaceutical companies. There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another, so that may explain the nausea, if one is slightly stronger. This is allowed under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984.

Thanks. I wanted to kno is there a difference in dilaudid 4 white pill and dilaudid 4 yellow pill if so wht is the difference please thanks.

Have you tried taking it with food and/or milk, rather than on an empty stomach? That can often alleviate the nausea.

Alternatively, your doctor may be able to prescribe something that will help prevent it.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Does anyone else have any ideas or advice to offer?
