the pill is large and is shaped like a hexagon. there are no printing on it. bright yellow and almost looks like a litte cheese cracker.

Sorry, if there are no markings, then there is no way to positively identify it. It could be a foreign medication or something over the counter. All prescription medications available in the US are required by law to have unique imprints to enable identification.
