Will Trazodone And Nefazodone Mix Well?

I took Nefazodone for years and it worked well for me. After hearing it may be pulled from the market, I've tried many other antidepressents, with no success. I'm now back to an old one Trazodone @ 125 mg and even though it's about 3 weeks into it, I seem to be getting worse instead of better. I liked my Nefazodone (Serzone). I still have some from earlier. Would it hurt to take a small dosage of Nefazodone with the Trazodone? I'm feeling so bad, sad, and anxious that I'm wanting relief, soon.

Generally, it is best not to mix them, unless your doctor specifically decides it is safe, or necessary for you to do so. They are in the same drug class, so taking them both, or taking too much of one, may result in Serotonin Syndrome, which can be very dangerous, and has the potential to be fatal.

Has there been any improvement on the Trazodone, yet?

Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes, and mood changes.
