Hello, Bhong! How are you?
Yes, switching from one to the other is usually okay, you just can't stop taking such a medication cold turkey.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.
The doctor should be able to help you discover an equivalent dose.
Is there anything else I can help with?
However, if the doctor doesn't advise it, then you should follow whatever instructions they provide.
