Hi Nett,
Judging from your description, I get the sense that it may be an OTC pill or some sort of dietary supplement; possibly even an illicit or foreign drug.
However, there's really no way it could be a legitimate Dilaudid pill, since all U.S. prescription drugs are required by law to have an imprint for verification of substance and dosage.
Is there any marking or imprint on the pill that you may have overlooked?
