Percocet Levels In System

I am suppose to take 60 milligrams of percocets a day for a month, then they are going to test my levels to make sure iv taken all of them. If I take a few of them a few days before my appointment will my levels look as if iv been taking them all month??

Hi Victoria,

To my understanding, the levels of percocet in your system should appear consistent if you've been taking them over a period of a week or so prior to your appointment. This is just an estimate, since these drugs do take time to build up in your system.

I'm not sure what % or levels your doctor might be looking for, but in the worst case scenario I would think that it may be best to just tell him the truth and move on to other means of treatment. These pain pills have so many adverse effects, I have to wonder how addicts even manage to take them down on a regular basis. If your doctor is human he should at least try to understand. If he doesn't agree, then in my opinion it would be worth changing doctors to someone who actually cares about you and your treatment.
