Norco Pain Pill 7 5
UpdatedWhen I picked up my monthly pain medication which is suppsed to be Norco 7.5 325 is white not orange and it says U02 on one side and has a split line on the other side? Is this correct?? Have they changed again and I just was not aware. It is the weekend so the doc and his pharmacy connected to it is closed.

Hello, White! How are you?
Yes, these are listed in the pharmaceutical databases as containing 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
These ones are manufactured by Aurolife Pharma. It is common for a pharmacy to switch, depending on which company was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed to restock their supply.
Are there any other questions or concerns?
Thanks for the reply. I was concerned as the pharmacy nor the doctor mentioned there was going to be a switch and the office was closed. I thought I had gotten the wrong medication as I could not even find these online anywhere to be identified. I guess the patient is the last to know. Typical lately.
You're very welcome! I'm glad I was able to help.
Not convinced that the cheapest drug for the pharmacy is the sole reason for the switch at least not for the consumer. My pain medication was switched on a different lower mg to a different mfg and it was ineffective and the price comparison to what I was use to taking to the changed mfg didn't change. I then had to deal with the ineffectiveness for a whole month. Then I had a different pharmacy order what I feel works for me. As it turns out, there's a difference. However it wouldn't surprise me that the pharmacy is making out but the cost savings of my pain medication drug wasn't passed on to me.
CVS has recently switched my normal pain med, Watson 3203 peach colored to a white chalky pill that dissolves in my mouth before I can even take a drink of water. #s on pill are n357-7.5 Anyone else out there know anything about this? They don't seem to be helping my pain
