It's a version of cisapride used mainly for gastropaeresis. That is a condition where the gastric contents of the stomach do not empty timely into the intestines. If the condition is serious enough and the digestive tract basically does not function the result is vomiting the contents of the stomach.

These tablets contain 10mgs of Domperidone, which is used to help prevent nausea, and vomiting, as well as to increase intestinal motility.

The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, flatulence, headache, stomach pain, abdominal cramping, and diarrhea.
