How can you tell if you have a bad percocet 10mg/325 pill? Anyway to test to make sure they are good?

You are taking the same pill I am taking. They are manufactured by Rhodes. This is what I have been taking. The month my pharmacy was out of them I got the A333's and they were useless. These are better than the A333, but last year I was talking a round white pill, I believe it was Watson. Those helped me a lot. Since they have taken things out of the pain meds, they are just about useless. The loratab's are Marco now. They said they done that because of the people abusing the medication. I don't think the honest people that are in chronic pain should suffer because they choose to abuse theirs, and take them to just feel high. It's not fair we have to suffer, and believe me, I feel your pain. My body is never pain free. I can't afford to buy the non generic percocet, my insurance only pays for the generic. Honestly, I don't know what we people that deal with chronic pain will do. I just think it's sad they try and protect the "abusers" and we have to in constant pain because they choose that way of life. When they are not helping the pain, they are damaging your liver and other organs just taking them. I just pray for anyone who has to deal with pain because you don't have a good quality of life. I know what pain is and anyone that doesn't have to cope with it is extremely blessed. It is no "Fun". I pray for changes that can help people in chronic pain and provide some relief.

My teeth are breaking at gum line they are healthy teeth. Is anyone out there taking oxycontin and losing teeth. I'm devastated I don't have dental insurance. I'm disabled I need a attorney there should have been a warning I've read where people have the same problem I do it has to be the oxycontin. How many people out there have suffered healthy teeth to just break I'm afraid to eat this is devasting. All I do is cry I can't smile

Exactly. I worked in pharmacies for 10 years. I don't think these *****s have any idea what the markup is on generic drugs, especially ones that have been on the market for as long as oxycodone mixed with acetaminophen. The pharmacies are still making a killing on them. I'd wager that it'd be more expensive for them to make fake pills themselves than to buy the real thing from the manufacturer and sell them. And the whole thing about the generics not working and having to have the brand name is insane. I've been to several places where they manufacture generics and I can promise you they've got the same stuff in them as the brand names. The placebo effect is indeed powerful on the stupid.

The fake ones I've saw are yellow, oblong, beveled on the edge, a little thicker than usual and say percocet right on the pill, and on the other side 10/325... they are made of stronger opiates. They caused me to be in hospital for 6 days, went in unconscious and now have to see a brain surgeon. Deadly pills!

Most likely the fakes ones that nearly killed me came from a pill press. I've heard from someone who had a family member pass away that they contain heroin, fentantyl and hydroxyzine. Deadly combination. Just be careful what ur getting no matter where they came from. My sister almost got dismissed from a pain center bc she failed a drug panel for the wrong kind of pill and that was the pharmacy's fault. They had been giving her half percocets and half hydrocodone in her bottles. She has poor eye sight and couldn't see any difference. Only thing was she said one worked a little bit better. She went to the pharmacy and come to find out an employee had been stealing one kind and filling her script with the rest.

How does anyone know if the pharmacist has a drug issue and covering their butts buy giving fake ones. It's a different world now.

Right, there isn't even one complaint on ANY pharmacy's name that they sold ANYONE fake percocet. But hey, we read it on the internet so it's gotta be true lmao.

Yeah i agree. I have never been to a walmart or any name store for that matter that dispenses fake percocets.

Use an Rx Savings Card and get insurance or switch from that garbage Percocet you're taking to Oxycodone HCL, AKA just Oxycodone without the Tylenol. They're cheaper and get generic brand man. Name Brand anything cost 2x more.

Thank you. These post are lies, I doubt any legit pharmacy will give a fake pain killer. Pharmacist are liable and will not lose their license or risk fighting a legal case which they will definitely lose.

I am in Alabama. I take generic percocet. My insurance will only pay for them. I don't know anything about the shiny particles in them. I only know that one month I had to substitute the A333's for my regular round one's was a nightmare. They was nothing to them. I suffered the whole month. But like me, the ones on disability have no choice. We have to take what we can get. It's a shame, a person is in chronic pain 24/7 and can't get any relief. Sometimes it makes you wonder why you are still here to have to suffer every day. I am 68 years old and believe me, it is tough just getting through each day.

I have gone to a pain clinic since 2007 after suffering a fall from a roof and fracturing several lumbar vertebrae. Went thru 3 back surgeries. The pain never improved to a point were I could be off of narcotics. Presently I take Kadian every 12 hours. I also am prescribed Percocet 10-325 one every 8 hours for breakthrough pain. I was doing ok until
Last year I started having increasing right hip and back pain, excruciating type pain. Went thru all kinds of tests and other than bursitis they say everything looks good. Now this pain has consumed me. Can't sleep, losing weight, can't eat. I'm not one to go to to ER because of the cost of it, I already have enough to medical debt from all these surgeries, tests, etc. But everyday it is the first thing on my mind. Plus I know how they treat chronic pain patients. Like a piece of dog crap. Here is my issue/question. I know it's going to sound ludicrous, but when I got my Percocet filled 8/9/16 they gave me a different shape one and I just looked it up on CVS's website and it says Generic for Percocet. It is round and white, has RP on one side and 10-325 on the other. They have given me different generics before and I never had an issue with them. These are like taking nothing at all. I don't know what to do about it. Can anyone suggest something. I know if I call an question them about it, they are going to treat me crappy.

Good grief people. Time for some honesty and reflection or something. The pharmacy will not give you fake pills period. Just tell the truth about where you got them from.

I got some Percocet A333 yesterday from Walgreens and they worked just fine I usually get my medicine from Walmart but I was running a little late and I was closer to Walgreens and they feel them and I've never seen that A333 before so I thought it was a wrong pill but it helped my pain my back my legs my arms everything work like normal and where I live a bottle of 120 runs about a hundred and sixty bucks

BS on Pharmacies not selling fake pills. I just got some a333 and they made me sick with no pain relief. I have never had this problem with watson pills from walgreens before. Just this last batch. I don't get pills from off the street. A retired police officer knows better than to do that.

Some discount cards take some money off but walmart in Indianapolis in without a discount is only $279.00 for 150 count 10/325 but straight Percocet is over $130.00 cheaper generic though
