Have lower back pain and was given 800mg Gabapentin to be taken 1/2 tablet 3 times a day. Only took 1/2 pill at bedtime, off and on for only a few months. My doctor moved and was given a different doctor who said my 200mg Zoloft a day wasn't working anymore so I should take a 800mg Gaba pill at night, he tapered me off the Zoloft by reducing 50mg every two weeks. I have been off Zoloft for a week and started wellbutin 75mg one in the morning and one at night. Note: I haven't taken the Gaba for 2 days and have noticed I am having anxiety, ring in ears, depression, crying at the drop of a hat, irritability, nausea, loss of appetite, insomnia, feeling like I;m going crazy. I believe these symptoms are from the Gaba what can I do to light theses symptoms?

Hello, Gwen! How are you feeling?

Actually, the symptoms you're experiencing are likely due to a combination of stopping the Zoloft, starting the Wellbutrin and skipping the doses of the Gabapentin. Kind of a triple whammy.

It will most likely take a couple weeks, before things settle back down, but they will likely improve, as your body adjusts and the Effexor starts to reach its full therapeutic level in your body.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, insomnia, nervousness and weight changes.

Have you experienced any other withdrawal effects, like chills or diarrhea?
