I'm taking the hydrocodone acetaminophen 10/325 norco's for torn and herniated disc , it seems not to be working , is there anything that I can ask for that would be stronger ? I am tired of hurting , what advice can you give me so I know how and what I can ask my doctor so it does not look like I am addicted or a drug abuser.

You could speak to your doctor about trying Percocet. The Oxycodone in it is stronger than Hydrocodone and it still contains Acetaminophen to augment it's action.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
But really, it's better to just let your doctor know that you're current medication isn't handling your pain and let them suggest an alternative to try.
