Fill My Norco (Top voted first)
UpdatedHello, I'm on norco 10/325 5 times a day and I just got my dosage raised to 6 times a day. My question is will I be able to get it filled early sine the dosage is different? Thank you! :)

It will depend on the pharmacist and your insurance. It also depends on how early you would be getting it filled.
Thanks for the reply, it will be 6 days early.
There's really no way of knowing until you go to the pharmacy.
most will go is THREE days early.. sorry, experience..
Thanks for the reply, even if it's a different quantity?
The problem is you have to finish out the 30 day script that you were on before they fill a new script with the new dosage. I'm assuming that your dosage went up because you were running out too soon each month. Just call your pharmacist and see what they say, technically it's a new dosage but with the laws getting stricter the pharmacist may make you wait.
Hi, I'm a retired Pharmacy Tech. I know that Norco is a scheduled 2 or3 now , but the directions have changed and your insurance needs to know that or you will have issues. It doesn't mater how soon it was filled, the sig has changed, that's all that maters. If it was to take less, now, it won't be filled.
Alice, All hydrocodone combination medications became Schedule II last year on October 6, 2014.
Yes, I found that out, which means, every single time one needs more, they must go to their MD and get a new record. If it has changed, it needs to be noted so that the insurance will fill it. Then, you must only have a day of medication left in order for the pharmacy to fill it. Sucks, but that's the way it goes now. Inconvient and more expensive.
Really sucks because my pain has gotten worse so I've had to take more and now I'm going to have to go cold turkey and be miserable. My own fault I suppose. What if they would of given me something different like oxy? Then would they fill it? Just curious , thanks.
i used to get oxycontin and hydrocodone and i got mine filled 5 days early at CVS but once i took my script to another CVS and i had to wait till the 30 days was up, so it depends who fills it and when they will fill it... if you have a script take it to another Pharmacy and see if they will fill it...Good Luck!
Boo, it really depends on the pharmacist and the pharmacy. The lower the dose the less likely you are to have problems when it comes to the pharmacy. In other words if you're on high doses and/or take more than one opiate, the more problems there seems to be at the pharmacy.
