Depakote And Qutipin

My mother has been on depakote 500mg tablet (1 every night) and quitipin 50mg ( 1 every nght) for 2 years now. She is constantly worried though not panicked. She talks to her self sometimes more than other times and hears voices constantly. Most of the time she is upset with the voices and other times she is peaceful with them. What are these medications for and how do they work in tandem with each other. Also any idea what it is my mother is suffering from, cause no one tells me. They just say she has a chemical imbalance and nothing more. Schezophrenia is taboo in India so no one tells me whats going on with her. PLease help me

there is a reason for not telling u the cause.may b ur mother is bn detected wid brain atrophy..which cannot b cured...m being taking care of my dear one since past 4 years so just take care of ur mom n give her a strong support along wid medication..

i,ve been taking depakote for years,i don,t know about your mother,but my problem i was told is a lack of social skills,i get involved with people who are criminally sick,my woman freind shop lifts to make money,and i seem to attract people who are getting into trouble with
the law.they take advantage of my good heart,get me in a situation where i have to be cruel and take care of myself only ,taking care of number one,im not a criminal.but i still give in to them because i need some one,but i hate to part with my money.the police don,t care,they think im a fool to care about these people who are bums and scum,but it is truely sad about my woman freind she has many problems and the police and stores she has stole just 20 dollars from show no mercy on her,now she needs 5,000 dollars so that she want do 5 years in prison.she is 53yo,its sad.she will lose everything over 20 dollars.your mother might be hearing her own voice,sometimes that is what happons to me,i was allso sexually abused at a young age and i was also not allowed by sociate to have a sexual partner,and i don,t know why,u know what i meen , must have been ugly looking .those people are hypacrites,i had to get my loven from the streets,but if i had it to do again i would never had done it,i would rather be a virgen for the rest of my life.and i lack some education u can probably tell by the way i speal.good luck.
