Cortisone Shot To Knee
UpdatedAfter the Cortisone shot yesterday to my knee, I had insomnia last knight and lots of sweating. Is this normal or a bad reaction to the medication?

Hi, Marjorie! Sorry about the insomnia and sweating.
Cortisone is a steroid class medication and those can be normal side effects of these drugs and may linger for a few days after having been given the shot.

I'm sorry that you weren't warned about them.
However, you should discuss it with your doctor to verify this and be sure of what else you can expect.
Is there anything else I can help with?
