Zubsolv Reviews (Page 10) (Top voted first)
UpdatedHas anyone tried it?
I agree. As addicts we have no right to judge one another. Myself, I find me still being hard on me because I need this med. to stay out of the streets and live normal.
I am addicted to subutex and I want to get off this cycle I've had enough. What's your best advice toward trying a real detox plan that will not have such lasting effects.
To Brad, I 200% agree with you. Not even close. I was on sub for a 17 months and down to taking 1 a day... When the insurance made me switch I went into withdrawl. I upped my dose to 2 a day and to me that still wasn't a full 8mg sub.. I like the taste, and quick dissolve but everyone in my groups that I've talked too (approx 100 total) only about 5-7 had no problems. My Dr told me he has a patient who has Imsuramce and pays over $900 a month so he can take subs not Zub... There S***
Eh...Whatever works best for an individual is literally the best option... once I started reading about all of your experiences with restless leg syndrome, anxiety and withdrawal period... I immediately realized we are all in the same boat. I envy people that have never experienced addiction, have never needed medication and are able to feel high on life. I get severe restless leg syndrome, which has made me consider taking my own life several times it was so severe... completely unbearable. I am even prescribed a nerve medication that is also prescribed to Alzheimer's patients but it is completely ineffective. I am a bigger guy and a man's man but it has made me cry my eyes out holding my wife like a child without any sleep for the entire night. I have employee-sponsored health insurance which does not cover my treatment, which means I never have enough medication. I still have a full-time job that requires me to be around and communicate with people all day and two young children that look up to their daddy that I have to take care of when I return home from work and my wife goes to work. It is impossible for me to participate in any detox program with my job and life and it is impossible for me to take time off work when I am out of medication and experiencing severe withdrawal. I want to be done so badly but I am truly stuck. I have managed to get myself down to 2 milligrams a day with minimal discomfort but when i lower my dose the restless legs are still just as bad as if I were experiencing full withdrawal off of 8+ mg a day. My reputation in my family and community prevents me from being able to tell anyone besides my doctor... including my wife and close friends. I had restless leg syndrome before any of this occurred so she doesn't think into it much. In anyone can provide or recommend a successful taper with roughly 24-40 mg to work with... I would gladly give it a shot. I know there are emergency tapers but when reading further into detail they didn't deviate much from a standard taper and still required a significant amount of medication to work with. Good luck to everyone else with their battles.
You are crazy! They are not even close to subs!!!!
Bulls***, the 12 mg strip is not the same as an 8. It's more and the zubsolv are weak. You spread misinformation.
NINNA: United has been covering Subutex/Suboxone for at LEAST 7 years. See if you can get back on the Suboxone. Or come up with a "Naloxone allergy" and get on Subutex...know what I'm saying?
JESSICA: Your doctor just cut you off cold turkey? Well, you clearly need to find another one (visit suboxone.com). And then you need to REPORT THAT DOCTOR as soon as possible.
It is not ethical for a doctor to just cut you off they know of the withdrawal possibilities and relapse potential that doctor should be stripped of his or her license and also sued!!!!!
BAD: Yes, EXTREMELY unethical. And I hope that person files a complaint with the AMA and their state regulating agency as well.
I can't speak for anyone but myself. But Zubsolv and Suboxone work just the same for me. One may be a strip, the other a pill, but under the tongue it goes and it does what it was built to do, KEEP YOU OUT OF WITHDRAW. And unless you take some ridiculous amount a day like 3 8mg subs or 3 5.7 zubs, you don't even need a whole. Break it in half. Sub, zub, Subutex it doesn't matter. The less you take the more cells are open for norbupenorphin, an ingredient that doctors will keep from you. The ingredient which when taken in smaller doeses, will give you the more opiate like euphoric feeling. Try it.
Question was just put on zubsolv and I was taking less then 2 mg of the suboxone can I break zubsolv in pieces?
I've been trying to detox on my own, and its so horrible so after 9 days I started the migraines again after not having one in 4 months. Pain doctor I have put me on fentora then on a time release that scared the #!!t out of me cause of side effects. So I told him I wanted off this stuff I would rather be in pain. I tried zubsolv today because I couldn't handle the pain and didn't even touch it...it sucks and tastes awful!!!!
I just got the script today. Joy pharmacy had to order it. We shall see.
Tell him exactly what you said here. You want to be honest. Your drug panel result on your first visit is a freebe. You r suppose to come up positive. That's is why your there. They get kick backs from the pharmaceutical company that makes sub. Not sure if that is why he won't keep you on zubsolv. I have the most awesome doc ever. Good luck
To whomever posted (5) above citing the company and study for zubsolv. Does a study on TWENTY-EIGHT people sound sufficient to anyone?? This is a money game with the pharmaceutical companies and drug manufacturers and I for one, do not appreciate being the guinea pig for their profit. I have sent my insurance company my complaint and my doctor knows how to work the system to keep me on suboxone. Thank goodness for my nurse. No one here, even if it is currently working for you, should be happy with taking a poorly researched new drug that is forced upon you by companies looking to turn a profit.
And on a personal little tangent, who gives a f what flavor it is?? Really??it's a drug that saves your life...get over it.
I have been on suboxone/subutex going on 4 years now and it has literally saved my life! Today I went to a new doctor and she introduced the zubsolv to me. I was a little reluctant at first but she gave me one in the office and it seemed to work fine. Of course all I have been taking in the past 6 months is half of a 8/2 suboxone strip, so that's only 4/1 mg of suboxone. So actually 5.7mg seemed fine to me pscychologically. Then I came home and began reading threads comparing suboxone with the zubsolv and people are saying it doesn't last as long or they feel as if they need more, etc.. I really hope just one of these works for me a day. Or even a half because it won't make sense to me to have to go from 4 mg of suboxone a day to (2) 5.7 zubsolv a day!??! Then my next concern is cost. If they are supposed to work "exactly" the same then I will choose the one that is cheaper on my pocket book! And if they are "exactly" the same then why make another drug? And are the patients (us) just the guinea pigs? We'll it seems like I'm just rambling looking back, but my question is I have tn care and they will only pay for 1 strip a day for a year, but I can pay for the remainder. I got 15 zubsolv free today thru my doctor so not real sure how much they are? Any one know or any suggestions?
I have been on suboxone for three years my dr.just wrote me a script for zub....I just tookmy second dose for the day(I take two 8mg subs daily)I took my 8mg sub this am.and just took the 5.7zub about 20minutes ago....hope this works as well????
I am currently on suboxone but my insurance is only gonna cover it for one more month. I'm scared to death. Then I heard of this stuff. I live paycheck to paycheck so I will not be able to afford the subs any longer. Please help!
