Vitamin Supplement Says To Take 3 Gel Caps Daily

My hair, skin and nails vitamins say take 3 gel caps daily, should I take all 3 at once? Or take 1 three times a day? Thanks.

Hi Amy,

From what I understand, if it doesn't specify on the directions that you should take it in divided doses then it's probably best to just take them all at once; although in my opinion, I doubt it would hurt if you did divide your dose.

The Garden of Life multivitamins I use actually say that I'm supposed to take 4 capsules daily, but then it goes into detail stating that it's best when taken 2 capsules twice daily. However, I've taken it both ways and feel that 4 capsules all at once gives me a much more noticeable boost in my energy levels than spreading it out evenly. It may all come down to personal preference in that regard.
