Some people state the pro soma is weak compared to the old Dan soma? Is this true? I just refilled my prescription of 600 prosoma for leg and hip spams. I need a med that works, tried ocaridoxen 250/200. It has not had an effect on me ## Most foreign Soma is questionable. Always keep in mind that ordering these medicines are illegal ## Soma is not a C-IV Controlled Substance in, I THINK, ALL 50 STATES in the UNION. It's inferior to the parent drug, MEPROBAMATE (Equanil, Miltown and many others). I've taken it and it's in no way equal to EQUANIL, MILTOWN or VALIUM. The pharmacist asked if I wanted I him to call my brother and get the "real deal". It is illegal to import Controlled Substances (and both SOMA and EQUANIL are C-IV in, I think, the entire Untied States int...

I've been in pain management for 20 yrs as a military wife. In Texas my PCM had to take me off soma that I was on with T3 soma over ten years and I switched from perc to t3 about 5 yrs ago. I had no problem going off tried several other muscle relaxers but they were too strong and drug me out. I know soma is suppose to be strong bug I took 3-4 a day for over 10yrs so I guess I built up a tolerance. I didn't feel any high but it helped the pain, guess that's why it was easy to quit except nothing else works for he pain. I am now on percs occasionally but take 3 norco 10/325 a day. I'd rather be back on the t3 and soma it works better and doesn't make me tired are there any Drs that will perscribe without the bs. I've also been thinking of trying the medical mariju...

What is the strongest soma made ## There is a 350mg tablet, which is the strongest available on the U.S. market. Learn more Soma details here. Due to the risk of muscle relaxants causing depression of the central nervous system, the FDA tends to be very picky about the strength of any that are available. Are there any other questions I can help with? ## P450, kipper here, is soma a schedule 2 narcotic? Or can my PA give it to me? ## Soma is a Schedule IV Medicine. It is not a "Narcotic" or a C2 substance in PA. A MD, PA, DO,or NP can prescribe this medicine. A DVM or DMD, the DMV or Doctor Joey can't!

DrJoeyMDPHD, or anyone else who can answer.... How long does it take for soma to be out of the system (and the metabolites)? My Mom has been using around 20 per day for 5 years. Her doctor is doing a specific test for soma at the request of my Dad. ## 20 per day is Liver Damage time, I'm surprised she is not dead. 4 is the maximum you are supposed to take daily? ## I know. My question is about the soma specific u/a. Does anyone know the excretion time? Is it all at once or is it gradual? Anything to drink, cleanses, etc....? ## I don't know, but I do know I've never met an MD Ph.D, , one who claims to be a Psychiatrist to boot? ## Well I guess there are however Soma is stored in the Liver and break down into what was the Benzo known as Miltown. It can be stored there for a l...

Will soma show up on a drug test for my probation officer? ## No Way! it's not an opiate !!!! Don't worry about your PO ## I took a soma and twos nights later I was in a accident that was not my fault. Workers comp had me drug tested will the soma show up on the urine test sent to a lab? ## Very possible it will. Soma is metabolized in the Liver as Miltown, a powerful Benzodiazepine and no longer commonly used. Soma is now a controlled C4 substance and is one of the most abused medicines available, so much so that Doctors are reluctant to prescribe it anymore.

My pharmacy just began filling my soma RX with 446/Sun pharmaceuticals. They don't work like any other generic I've taken. I get shakey and nervous sometimes. They also don't help the muscles. I do not want to take any drug made out of the country. Has anyone else had this problem? ## I don't know where my pharmacy gets its meds, but I used generics for years with no problems. About 2 years ago, I began to have severe reactions to them, and have had to switch to the pricier real things. ## Sun 446 Soma works fine. Medicine made out of the Country is just as good as medicine made here. ## @Kel, My research leads me to believe that it's probably the inactive ingredients that are causing the problems when you switch from one manufacturer's tablet to another. The way...

I was switched from Soma 350mg to balcofen 20mg. By my Doc. and don't like how tired I feel with Balcofen.... Although Soma used to put me out and even black out at times.. ## Hello, Slick! How are you? How long have you been taking the Baclofen? Tiredness can be a side effect of muscle relaxants, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. If you've only been taking it for a short time, you may be experiencing side effects of it, coupled with withdrawal effects from stopping the Soma.

Is a wpi 3638, anything like a soma? ## No it is not. It is Hydromorphone. a most powerful pain pill ## Thank you, Eddy! What he has stated is correct. To add some specifics, this tablet is manufactured by Watson Laboratories and they list it as containing 16mgs of Hydromorphone, which is a pretty high dosage. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Has anyone gotten these filled at the pharmacy They seem to be inferior to all others Please let me know. ## Hello, Anal! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Aurobindo Pharma and they list it as containing 350mgs of Carisoprodol. The FDA classifies this medication as a muscle relaxant and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Can anyone that's taken these ones chime in with their experiences?

I took two somas on June 5th. I have a hair follicle test I have to take. Will it be positive? ## It probably will. Soma is a controlled schedule 4 medicine and one of the most abused medicines in the U.S. Your hair shows everything, why wouldn't it show Soma?

My problem is much like so many others on here. After being treated with meds for 12 years (120 Soma per month as well as 180 Norco 10 and 120 Valium 10) my wife which is on full disability was also treated by the same doc for 9 years. The doctor was raided by local police and DEA but was never charged with anything unfortunately the local press basically tried and convicted him in 1 week smear campain. As a result he never returned.to his.practice and allowed his medical license to expire. It's now been 22 months and the DEA still has my medical file as well as 15 other patients. It has been the closest thing to hell as I have every known. I can't even get a doctor to write a prescription for my gout medication. I now realized the amount of drugs I was receiving was excessive I...

I take narco 10s, soma 350, and the klonopIn 1 mg ... Is there any Otc medication that can supplement narcotics with? They just aren't taking the pain away lol they used to.. Appreciate it ## No, it is not a good idea to add anything else. The Norco already contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, as listed by the FDA. The Acetaminophen augments the action of the narcotic in some people that take it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If your pain is no longer being alleviated, then it would be best to speak to your doctor. You may need a dosage adjustment or to try a different medication. Is there anything else I can help with?

Someone told me it was 359mg of Soma ## Is that the complete marking? Was it found/obtained in the U.S.? There is no Soma/Carisoprodol listed in the U.S. prescription drug databases with this marking, either in the 350mg dosage or the 250mg dosage. Does anyone else know what this may be? ## I received my prescription from a local pharmacy here in the U.S and that's what they are suspose to be is Soma 350mg... They dOn't work like the ones I'm used to getting. In fact they give me real bad chest pains & a headache

I have been prescribed to soma for six years I take five a day 350 mg and I also take one 8 mg Suboxone a day is that safe to take spaced apart??? ## You should not take 5 Soma's a day? Taking Suboxone with other drugs that make you sleepy or slow your breathing can cause dangerous or life-threatening side effects. Ask your doctor before taking Suboxone with a sleeping pill, narcotic pain medicine, muscle relaxer, or medicine for anxiety, depression, or seizures ## @Diane, Just wanted to validate that Eddy's advice is spot on and in alignment with what I'm finding on drug interaction checkers. Umm.edu specifically mentions that there's a "high interaction potential" between these two drugs, whereas using the two together may increased your risk for certain side e...

Posted 4-29-15. Soma manufactured by Sun Pharma are currently available in Houston, TX. I recently read that the FDA put a strong warning on Sun Pharma products and is trying to halt their import from India. Has anyone taken Soma by Sun Pharma lately? I read that Sun Pharma uses approximately 6-8 binding agents in that particular pill. If you have taken Soma manufactured by Sun Pharma please share your results here. Thanks! ## Much of my Soma has come from Sun. Hey Blue Bell Ice Cream just recalled every product they make. What are you going to do. India is a filthy country and I am sure anything we read about Sun is true. Their medicine still works fine however, at least for me. ## For the record Sun Pharma Xanax is excellent. I'm not sure the number of fillers or binders has anyth...
