Active ingredient Dextranomer. ## As of writing, this drug is not manufactured from the US. I was only able to locate Debrisan Paste which is used to treat wounds containing moist soft slough such as ulcers and infected surgical wounds. Do you have any more questions or information to add? Please post back if you do. ## Crystal. I would like to know where can I buy Debrisan in US. Does not matter presentation paste or beads. Could you help me with that information, also if you know online sites to buy it? ## Unfortunately I can't make a specific recommendation regarding where to obtain medications from. I would recommend that you check with a few pharmacies, and see if you can get a prescription from your doctor. That is always the saftest way to go. Please post back if you have any...

tincture benzoin spray ## Benzoin Tincture is used externally in the form of a tincture, diluted with water as a mild stimulant and antiseptic in irritable conditions of the skin. It acts as a carminative when taken internally is rapidly absorbed, and mildly expectorant diuretic and antiseptic to the urinary passages. In the form of Compound Tincture of Benzoin, it is used as an inhalant with steam in laryngitis and bronchitis. It is a preservative of fats, and is used for that purpose in Adips Benzoatus. More information: ## I've had them before and didn't think it was any good. It was pink then. I had one and I thought it looked like gaviscon.

What is "Excipiente CBP"? Is it an ingredient in Reacel-A Tretinoina? ## Hello, Janet! That's actually not an ingredient, per se. "Excipiente CBP" stands for the quantity of inactive ingredients, in comparison to the active, to make up 1 dose of any given medication. This is a Tretinoin ointment that's most commonly used to treat acne, as listed by the FDA. Side effects are typically related to its topical use and may include skin redness, irritation, dryness and rash. ## My Tretinoin Crème (1%), by Rouse Point Pharmaceuticals does not have the pearly appearance that I am used to seeing in this crème. Why not? Is the pearly appearance required?

I was given this tube of cream but, what is it supposed to do? ## I'm curious as to why someone would give you a prescription based tube of cream without telling you what it was. Bad business... Clobetasol propionate cream and ointment contain the active compound clobetasol propionate; a synthetic corticosteroid, for topical dermatologic use. It is indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. Treatment beyond 2 consecutive weeks is not recommended, and the total dosage should not exceed 50 g/week because of the potential for the drug to suppress the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. Please post back if you have any other questions or comments to add. ## I was given this foam and because my scalp sores are ...

small white capsule with gold letters and numbers ## I found this white pill with red lettering on it that says 1mg on the upper part of the pill and on the lower part of the pill is an f inside a square box and the numbers 617 beside that what kind of pill is this? ## Astella Pharma lists this capsule as being a 1mg Prograf capsule, which contains the active ingredient Tacrolimus. It is an immunosuppressant. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, increased risk of infection, and digestive issues. Is there anything else I can help with?

Doxytet green tablets I went to a doctor for acne she prescribed doxytet are they really helping for a skin while I develop to much rash on my face....vomiting everytime I take doxytet and headache. ## Yes, some acne is caused by bacteria and this antibiotic is often used to help treat it. The nausea, can be a normal side effect, it should ease up in a few weeks, as your body gets used to the medication. You may also experience dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. If it doesn't ease up soon, then you may need to return to the doctor and try a different medication. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hey I also went to the doctor and he gave me those pills and am having a rash now all over my face , I want to know how long will it take to disappear?

Prescribed after gum surgery it is a capsule taken every 8 hrs ## Strep throat. Question - Given 500 mg, shouldn't it be 300 mg. ? ## This is an antibiotic. The dosage is entirely up to your doctor and what they believe is most appropriate to treat your condition. ## does this work for acne ## My dentist prescribed 300mg of clindamicina 3x daily starting a day before two extractions and for a week thereafter. Apparently it worked because there has been no evidence of infection. One unpleasant side effect was that my saliva became bitter and it was very uncomfortable to swallow food; much like heartburn. ## I was told to take two capsules a day for five days... After four capsules I had heartburn so bad and my esophagus and stomach was burned so bad, it has taken me two weeks to stop...

I have pimples on my face, that's why I want to use salicylic acid ointment. ## Does anyone know about the availability of Clobetasol Salicylic Acid Ointment online or if it requires a doctor's prescription? ## Clobetasol is a steroid class medication, so there is risk of it actually causing acne, rather than helping alleviate it, according to NIH reports. Other side effects may include skin redness, irritation, and skin flaking. MOHD, it depends on where you live, the U.S. requires a prescription, but that is not applicable in all countries. What other medications have you both tried?

I took accutane in 2004 at 63 years of age. I immediatetly started having problems with triglycerides, eyes, diziness, balance problems, dementia, depression, slurred speech, elevated blood sugar, etch. Is there anyone out there that took this drug at this age? ## Age means nothing. I am sure there are people who have taken at your age, but people younger say 16 have ended up with diseases that usually 50-60 yrs get from Accutane. Many people have suffered what you state from Accutane. There are all documented side effects. Hopefully back in 2004 you stopped the med and things got better. Did you take it for Acne or Cancer? ## Are you still taking it? While the FDA does warn that these can be side effects, that doesn't necessarily mean that it has cause brain damage. Other side effe...

Is there a substitute for Santyl ointment (a collagenase treatment)to debride wounds? ## Substitute for Santyl ## Are you having some bad reaction to this ointment? The FDA states that it doesn't usually cause adverse reactions, unless someone is allergic to it, in which cases it could cause breathing problems, swelling, skin irritation, and redness. The former means of debridement were much worse, since they involved having to have the wound scrubbed with a very rough brush, and it was quite painful. This is a much better option. Can you please post back with why you are seeking an alternative?

Hi. I'm on fumaderm for psoriasis. Been taking it for almost 2 and a half months now (been on 6 full strength tablets a day for almost 3 weeks) and I haven't seen any improvement to my skin yet. The leaflet says results are usually seen around 8 weeks so I'm worrying it may not work for me. Anyone else been on this and had to wait a few months for results? Thanks. ## Hello, Herald! How are you doing? Has there been any change, yet? In most cases, when they give a certain number of weeks for results, they usually mean one steady dose for that period of time, because things can fluctuate, as long as your dosage is still changing. Have you been experience any side effects? The NIH lists the most common ones as possibly including abdominal pain, diarrhea, and flatulence. Are you...

Why are my feet so dry and look like they're getting darker? It looks like broken veins, it's very dry and itchy. It also looks red and sometimes has swelling. ## The swelling might be due to edema, though only a doctor can really give you a definitive answer. Sometimes itching and dryness are due to circulatory problems, according to NIH studies. I've experienced it myself, in the past. They also warn that it could be the side effect of some medications. Do you have any diagnosed medical conditions? Are you on any medications? How bad is the swelling?

What is Fumaderm? What are its side effects? Is it better to take than Soraitain or Methatrexate? ## Hi, I've been on Fumaderm for around two months now and have found the results really good. I still have small patches here and there but the majority has cleared up. I havent tried Soraitain or Methatrexate, but I used to be on Cyclosporin, which I didnt like as it lowered my immune system and I always felt generally unwell and couldnt shake off a cold for weeks! The side effects are less if you slowly build up the dose, I took one 'initial' tablet for a week, then two for two weeks before going up to one 'blue' tablet per day which I've been on now for almost 5 weeks. I have had some side effects but nearly as bad as some others I've heard of. The main one i...

I have a lot of bumps on my inner thighs and the bumps have blood and white spots like puss in them. What might this be and how can I treat it? ## Hi Azzia, Sorry to hear about your situation. Posted below are some questions I thought of that may help narrow down the underlying cause and potentially shed light on some treatment options moving forward. However, if these bumps become more severe or don't go away soon, it's probably best to visit a respected doctor who can evaluate your condition more closely. - How long has this been happening? Or is it only recent? - Do you think it could be an 'STI'? - Have you taken anything recently that you might be allergic to? - Did you recently change laundry detergents? - Did you recently apply any new skincare products in that ar...
