I had some old meds and I need penicillin. I can't remember if this is Penicillin or antihistimine. I can not take them. it is a new drug for the treatment of tb diseas ## I can't find any information on it, it is not coming up in a search. Do you know anything else about it? From the name, one can assume it is an antibiotic from the Penicillin family. This would make it effective against various types of infectious organisms.

I have a very bad cold, lots of mucus and coughing. We are presently in Maz. Mexico and my husband bought the pennicilin at a local drugstore but I can't read spanish so don't know how many to take? Thanx, Gloria ## A cold is caused by a virus, not an infection, so an antibiotic is not effective against it. You also run the risk of developing antibiotic resistant baccteria if you use it inappropriately. That said, the normal Penicillin dosing is usually about 3 tablets a day, taken 8 hours apart, but this site is not medical professionals, so you should consult a doctor. It an also cause side effects such as: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea. Have you seen a doctor, yet?

What exactly is this product? I aplied to my head ans felt relief. ## Penicillin is an antibiotic, it is used to treat various types of infections. A topical cream would be used for skin infections. So, no, it would not help with a headache, in tablet or cream form. Was this prescribed for you?
