i am a 57 year old male i am now taking hydrocodone 10/325 tabs 5x day as needed for 3years befor that 7.5/325 4x day before that propoxyphene 65mgs taps 3x day for about 15 years problems c-6 &l-5 broken r- foot shatterd left knee 6-ops than total knee replaced do ned to stop can i or would it be to hard with out anything i hurt to much to work i need to work to live do i need help ## You're asking if you need to stop pain medications? i just filled my prescribtion of roxicodone and they came in clear capsules ..ive never seenthem before and ive never heard anyone speak of them either so now im scared to take them because i dont want to take the wrong meds even though i got them from the pharmacy but these day u cant be to careful so if anyone has heard of them or taken b4 plz let me now i would greatly appericate it greatly thank you..... ## Hi Sherl, I think it's wise to be cautious when it comes to prescriptions. Mis-matched prescriptions are all too common in this day and age. I know generic Oxycodone comes in capsules (but they aren't clear ones). To date, I have yet to see a "Roxicodone" in capsule form. Is there an imprint or marking on the capsules by chance? I may be able to look it up for you...

The pill is round small and purple no idea what it is. ## sounds like morphine long acting. take it to your pharmacy. do not swallow it...it could kill you. ## Is it possibly an M 30? Is the letter in a box? There is a purple tablet made by Mallinckrodt that has an M in a box and a 30 on the other side, that is purple and contains 30mgs of Morphine, a very potent narcotic pain medication. i am roughly 140 max. i have been sober for six months and plan on taking 1/2 of a hydrocodone 7.5. and just wondering how long will it be out of my system blood and urine ## Hydrocodone can be detectable in a standard blood test for approximately 2 weeks and in urine for approximately 4 to 5 days. I kow it is not just morphine what males time released ## The active ingredient is just Morphine, there are no active ingredients used in the time released formulation and other products in it would be considered inactive, because they have no beneficial or detrimental pharmaceutical effect. I have severe chronic spine and back pain. I asked for Norco 10/325. ( lower Tylenol) I recieved Watson 540 light blue oval pill with score on the other side. Can anyone tell me the name of that blue pill before I take it? I live in the bronx I can't find anywhere to fill them oxy 30 mgs willing to go to any borough I've been to countless pharmacies can someone please help me ## I KNOW YOUR PAIN!!!!! Im having a similar problem...and i live between brooklyn ( east ny ) and the northern bronx .... a lot of pharmacys will not order these controls so what im gonna try is the nyc hospital pharmacys see if the will help you too..also be prepared to W AIT!!! ## Another idea that has worked for some people is to check with your insurance provider, if you have prescription coverage and see if they have a preferred mail order pharmacy that you can use. My husband has COPD. He was prescribed the Hydrocodone APAP 5 500 by his doctor for back pain. However, 1 pill seems to allow him to breathe better and reduces all his aches and pain (of course). The pill has also allowed him not to have to take his dose of Advair 250/50 at night. He has less mucous in the morning also. Why is the Hydrocodone 5/500 working like this? ## Hydrocodone is actually used in some medications, such as Tussigon and Tussionex, which are liquids, to help aid coughing, because it also has proven action as an antitussive. I am on fentanyl 25mcg every 48 hours and norco 10/325 4 times a day Valium 10mgs 3rimes a day I get frequent uti and take cipro for them I get drug screened in pain management with urine test most always shows false positive for oxy and then is sent out and comes back fine why does this keep happening ## It's probably related to the quality of the test they are using. Since they are very few doctors and clinics that are required to use certified tests, most don't, because the regular tests are much cheaper. These 'regular' tests are known to cause false positives anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time and that is why, when your sample is sent out to the actual lab, for more professional, controlled testing, it comes back fine. Can anyone help me please?....I just moved here to Vancouver, WA from out of state and I'm having a hard time trying to find a doctor or pain management clinic who will keep prescribing my oxycodone rx I'm prescribed 30 mg of oxycodone 4x a day. I was legitimately diagnosed with chronic pain, but there are so many people out there who abuse the medications that it's hard if not impossible for us who actually need them to get any help. It's extremely frustrating. I have a broken hip (2 metal plates and 8 screws) and also a broken vertebrae in my lower back along with a herniated disc. Roxi ruins lives, relationships & souls. My daughter's father is highly addicted to Roxi's and has never even been prescribed it. He has almost lost everything including his daughter. He just can't stop, especially on his own. I was called by an officer for myself callling in a prescription for Tramadol. I was informed that it is most likely a class B Misdemeanor. I have a prior felony 15 years ago and had to pay $100 fine and 1 year probation. The felony in no way resembles the tramadol thing. Any thoughts? I live in Texas
