I am currently a patient at a methadone clinic in Bham. I find that I am having a hard time paying for my doses. I pick up 5 bottles a week 200mg a day. does any one know of a place that gives help for paying for methadone? please let me know if you know of anyone thank you ## You honestly take 200mgs. a day? That's enough to kill a horse! ## Aloha I am not sure where Bham unless Alabama? Yes 200 mls is a lot but at one time I was at 450 but law have changed a lot! Here over 150 a day you have to go daily.no 6 packs, in Hawaii the state aid pays for the program unless you are well off and have private Ins that may have no coverage! Do you have pain or is this drug maintenance for you? I found going down 5 a month will get you down to levels that if you can't pay it will not be l...

Urgent!!! I need a doctor in St.Paul, Minnesota that prescribed methadone for pain. My doctor retired and I need a doctor that prescribes methadone for chronic pain. I started seeing this pain doctor and she knew from the start that I wanted to continue on with my previous doctors care plan. After I am under her care, she decides she is going to take me off methadone completely without an alternative medication to take it's place. She straight up lied to me. I did not want an intervention. I wanted to continue with my care plan that I've been using for the last 12 years. Will somebody help!!! ## well, dear sir i empathise with your suffering. i cant thing of anything worse than methadone withdrawal- with the exception of liquid methadone!-(even if she titrated it) methadones half...

I have been prescribed dilaudid 8mg 4xs daily for 2 years by a respected, long time in the community pain management dr. He tried me on Fentanyl in Feb but it made me sick and changed the dilaudid to 6 daily until I find new PM Dr in my new area. I moved from Destin, FL to Jacksonville, Fl. 3 weeks ago. My Destin PM Dr was giving me the 6 daily ONLY until new Dr finds extended release rx to suit my needs and use the dilaudid for breakthrough. He didn't want to start me on a new rx and then I move in case of reactions. So. Being he gave me 120 every 20 days instead of every 30 days so not to raise a red flag here in FL, no new PM Dr will see me before 28 days is up, leaving me in withdrawals and the original horrible pain for not only those 8 days in between but an additional week be...

Hi, when I take suboxone I breakout in hives and skin rashes. Is there anything else I can take. ## Hello, Michele! How are you? What are you taking it to treat? Have you tried Subutex, since it doesn't contain the Naloxone that Suboxone does? The FDA classifies this as being an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## When I firsf started suboxone I broke out in rashes/hives for the first couple weeks which subsided I fhought I was going to have to see if the dr could swap me to something else but it did eventually subside for me... This may not be the case for you so I suggest discussing with your health care provider who perscribss you the suboxone ## Subutex. it's the...

Am tryin to get well so I need to talk to a doctor ## Hello, Alfreda! How are you? I'm sorry, but treatment with Suboxone requires you to actually be physically seen and examined by a doctor that has a waiver to treat with it. You will also, most likely, be required to attend some type of counseling. You can search for a doctor that treats with it in your area by using the search feature on the website Suboxone.com click here. It lets you search by zip code and their contact information will be included. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can hel...

My boyfriend swallowed half of an 8mg subutex pill thinking you take it like a normal pill. What should I have him do? Should I give him the other half and have it dissolve under his tongue this time or should I only give him 1/4 to dissolve or do I not give him anymore yet. ## There is no harm in swallowing it, it just takes a little longer to start working that way than it does if you allow it to dissolve under your tongue, so there's nothing to worry about. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Here is my ?'s. I have been taking subs now for 7 to 8 yrs or so. I went to my dr and told him i was going to be having lots of teeth taken out. What do i do? HE SAID LETS STOP THE SUBOXONE. SO THE pain meds will work as long as you do take subs for 3 days before should be good. Then the ky rx would not fill the #5 lortabs because i was prescribed suboxone. When did the pharmacist get the right to not do there job? I explained the deal as i stood there in pain, so no choice but to get what I could. That's what scares me. Is there a drug made that can cancel out the suboxone in case of emergency or do i have to just suffer (should i ever need open heart surgery or any surgery? Lots of questions to come. Thanks. Addicted to H. Need doctor in Phila who writes RX for methadone. want to work. can't go to clinic everyday ## Hello, Ann! How are you? I'm sorry, but under current laws, a clinic is your only option. Regular doctors aren't allowed to prescribe it for addiction treatment. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can anyone suggest a good clinic in that area? ## Yes you can the one on parkside ave opens at 630.. Not too mant Drs these days write for Methadone. Suboxone perhaps There is also a clinic on the border of Ridley and Chester. I would try the suboxone. You can probably find a Dr. on line for thst.

Hi i Have M924 it is subetex correct ## Hello, Rich! How are you? Yes, that is correct. The manufacturer, Mylan Pharmaceuticals, lists this tablet as containing 8mgs of sublingual Buprenorphine, so it is a generic for Subutex. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I took 30 mg of Methadone in the morning and an 8 mg Subutex in the afternoon. I don't feel sick. Am I supposed to? ## My DR started me on 10mg of methadone. couple of days later, my mouth was parcially numb and my taste was all messed up. I didnt even consider it to be the methadone. I thought it was something I ate. but then after a few more days, I figured it had to be the methadone. Has anyone else had methadone cause their inside moth to be numb or totally mess with their taste buds? If so, how long after stopping methadone till your taste came back to normal? ## @BK, There's actually another discussion thread here on this same topic with over 40 comments. Hey my fellow pals who understand what addiction is! So many of us have it and its the hardest thing to quit even if you WANT to! Right u know im right but dont blame yourself cuz statistics say that additive personalities are in our genes. We are the lucky ones that got it from your mom, father, grandfather, grandmother etc. Anyway what i guess i am trying to say that it down right fn sucks, its a big ass monkey on our backs and its NOT EASY to just STOP. Where do we get the strength and WILLPOWER?! I am sooooo mad at myself cuz i have been clean for many years. It started with 4 operations on my foot with no more pills of course i was so afraid of the withdrawal effect. So i went on a suboxone program. So what happens, i break 4 ribs and bruised my lung! Of course i needed painkillers...

I no longer have insurance and I am wondering if there were any free treatment centers in the Birmingham Alabama that prescribed silicone? ## Hello, Connie! How are you? Unfortunately, there are none that treat with Suboxone that I'm aware of, it is actually provided by private doctors that have the special waver to treat with it. Have you considered Methadone treatment? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I would stay away from methadone. Bad for your teeth. Makes you sleepy. More easy to decrease your suboxone than methadone. That's my opinion .

They just gave me 2mg subx my Mind has settled but still feel like a drank 3 pots of coffee on the inside .. Does subx make you feel totally normal ? Or just keep you from getting sick ? ## Hello, Krissy! How are you feeling? Have things improved, at all? I have been on Suboxone for a little over a year now. I am now off the roxy. Anyway, my question is: My doctor does a panel test to test for the usual. Then she will do a separate test for Suboxone. I smoke pot. This has come up positive on my tests before and she says she normally wouldn’t care, but to her this means, “I am hanging around the wrong crowd and might relapse.†I have used clean urine from another person before and dissolved a small piece of the film in it. When I do this the panel test shows a faint line for opiates. Then I swear up and down I haven’t taken a roxy in over a year (true), and then she will do a separate test just for Suboxone and roxy. Dissolving a small piece into the clean urine made the ...

Does this new suboxone work as well as the others i just got these myself ## No. ## @m1hullxjunky (thread starter), From what I'm finding, the answer is likely going to be different for each and every individual depending on a variety of differentiating factors, (such as tolerance, age, weight, metabolism, variations in binders/fillers from previous suboxone tablets, etc),... If the butrans patch out of date can u still use it ## Medications do lose effectiveness over time, so it may not work as well as it did, when new. It would be best to dispose of the expired patches and obtain a new supply. My sister stolen my last 2 fentynol patches. After 2 days I started going thru severe withdrawal. The cold sweats, muscle spasms, diarrhea, palpitations and then throw up. A friend gave me a Zubsolv, 5.7. I broke it in fourths and put it under my tounge. With a few minutes my withdrawal symptoms were gone. I have 2 days to go before I get my patches, and I only have that one pill. Will I be able to feel my patch when I put it on? I don't want the high, just block my pain. Will the fentynol still work for my pain? If not how long after taking Zubsolv will it be before my patch works for my pain? ## Unless your doctor instructs otherwise, you need to wait at least 3 days, before the Fentanyl will work, again. I have been taking suboxone for 2 years. Out of nowhere I just recently (2 weeks) developed what appears to be contact dermatitis. It started as a single red itchy spot and has spread ferociously over the last 2 weeks. Nothing has changed dosage wise. I also took in two foster kittens but the first red spot occurred before the kittens came and I have owned cats my entire life. Is it possible to develop an allergy to suboxone at random? There is no other side effects, no swelling of face or tongue no nausea or dizziness. The dermatitis (we'll call it) is only on my torso and arms. I just need to know if it's even possible to develop an allergy to this after being on it for so long? It doesn't make sense. Please help! ## Hello, James! How are you? I'm sorry about the probl...

I don't take anything except Gabapentin. I just showed up positive for Buprenorphine. How? Omg I'm freaking out!!! How does this happen?? ## YES!!! I took melatonin and had a positive on my urine test for suboxone and this was the only none prescription I had taken so I knew that had to be it. I didn't take the melatonin that night and went back the next day and tested clean. I also had 5 nurses standing around with me as we crushed up one of the melatonin and dissolved it in water and tested it and it came up POSITIVE. As one of the nurses said, the melatonin made the test go crazy.
