Need To Help My Sister

I have no idea how to help my sister who is trying to get a appt with a subozone dr..She has been on a waiting list for over 2 months.. I think she is still using alot and so afraid something will happen to her..If i had the money i would drive to another state. Nearest town has same amount on their waiting list..just need prayers

What state are you in we have drs here in Alabama that will take you on as an emergency patient....his name is Dr.Scott Bell ...a very sweet man. I WAS IN NEED OF IT A MONTH AGO HE TOOK ME over the weekend TO HIS OFFICE. HIS NURSE MET ME THERE AND THEY DID THE DRUG CHECKS. I WAS HOOKED ON LORTAB THANKS TO ONE WACOY DR HERE IN MONTGOMERY AL.

HE DOESNT CHECK YOU OR ANYTHING. DOESNT ASK WHAT THE PEOBLEM IS. HIS NURSES DO IT ALL. HE COMES IN LONG ENOUGH TO SAY OK HERE IS WHAT WE ARE GOING TO DO. ITEAD HE SAYS OK WHAT DO YOU NEED TODAY. YOU TELL AND BAM YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS AND YOU ARE GONE... BUT DR SCOTT BELL IS THE BEST. HE AND HIS NURSING STAFF WILL DO ALL THEY CAN FOR YOU AND WILL NOT LET YOU LEAVE UNTIL THEY KNOW. BUT YOU HAVE TO BE GOING THROUGH WITHDRAWAL BEFORE MAYBE A DAYS WORTH IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET AHOLD OF ME WRITE BACK ON HERE AND I WILL CHECK IN

Hi Aimee,

I'll be sure to keep your sister in my prayers. Just know that everything always works out for a good reason (whether we see it in our perspective or not), so I'd also keep encouraging her to hold onto her faith while she patiently waits for treatment.

I don't know your sister's particular reason for choosing suboxone over other measures, but perhaps this could also be a good window of time to explore other pain management options/doctors/ or alternative remedies that can be of help too.

If she's trying to alleviate withdrawal symptoms from a previous medication, I would even ask her doctor about trying medical cannabis, depending on the laws in your state. I'm not a doctor myself, so please don't take this as medical advice, but a lot of people do testify to the effects of cannabis in helping them better cope with certain symptoms that are common during a state of withdrawal.
