What's the strongest 8mg morphine or hydrocodone 10mg? ## Morphine and Hydrocodone are equivalent in terms of strength, 1mg of Morphine is equal to 1mg of Hydrocodone. Thus, the 10mgs of Hydrocodone would be stronger, just because it is 2mgs higher in dosage. Learn more Morphine details here. Learn more Hydrocodone details here. Can't figure out what this pill is its an orange or peachy coloured pill with N on one side and 30 on the other side.. Can anyone help? ## Hello, Based on your description of the pill, the closest match I could find is an orange, round, biconvex tablet, with "N" on one side and "60" on the other. This contains Morphine sulfate SR 60 mg, manufactured by Teva Canada. Teva Canada (formerly known as Novopharm) also manufactures other tablets with the "N" imprint. It may also be worth while contacting the manufacturer directly regarding your inquiry to confirm its ID. Their Product Inquiry Department can be reached via email or phone at: [email protected] / 1-800-268-4129 You can learn more about this drug on the page for Morphine Details I hope this...

I do take lortab 10 4 a day due to health problems! However I did try 6 morphine and they really help!! But got afford because my Dr is going to send me to a pain clinic! How long will the 6 morphine stay in my system? I have only taken the lortab10 as prescribe by my Dr ## Pls elaborate, don't know what you are asking, you took 6 morphine pills at once, was it instant release, what dose, brand, etc. where did you get the morphine from and 6 morphine over what you have been taking will - if NOT prescribed by your doctor - will make your Norco (or whatever brand you take) seem ineffective as you just likely raised your tolerance in a huge way and you will regret that b/c no good PM doctor will give you that kind of dosing from what you are RX'd. Be careful b/c you don't want ...

Is there anyone out there that has allergic reactions to most pain meds? I can't take morphine, codene, nsaids, antibioctics, vitimins, sulfa, neurontin & prednisone.I have been on fentenal patches, & vicodin which does nothing for my pain. Now that vicodin is off the market they gave me the substitute norco 7.5 350mg. They suck. I know everything acetimin has been cut to 325mg but do these law makers realize we are just going to have to take more pills to get out of any pain? Next time I go to the dr. they will need me to be on the 10's.I don't think there are to many people like me, but in case there is does anyone know of some other pain med thats available? I just tried lyrica and thought it would kill me. I have MS, a bone disease that is life long and no cure, ...

Is Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals making a new blue M 30? Earlier today my friend told me that they were making new blue M 30s and he gave me a half to try. From what I can tell it is the real thing but it looks different. Darker Blue, Box M on one side, 30 on the other. It is also smaller about the size of an A. ## Actually, from the reports I'm finding these are listed as being fake and there is no definitive answer on what they contain, so I'd advise you not to take them and to proceed with caution. They are not listed in Mallinckrodt's database, they only list a purple pill with that marking that's a Morphine tablet and the pale blue one that is Oxycodone. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Can you advise what category this falls in , is this a morphine based medication ? ## Hi Gareth, The only pill I've found that matches this description is a foreign version of Nexium, possibly from Taiwan. From what I can gather this pill contains (40 mg) of the active ingredient Esomeprazole. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (brand name Nexium) which reduces acid secretion through inhibition of the H+ / K+ ATPase in gastric parietal cells. By inhibiting the functioning of this transporter, the drug prevents formation of gastric acid. It is used in the treatment of dyspepsia, peptic ulcer disease (PUD), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GORD/GERD) and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Esomeprazole is the S-enantiomer of omeprazole (brand name Prilosec/Losec). Generic versions of Eso...

My rheumatologist gave me prednesone 10 mg Q.D My Primary (PCP) gave me morphine sulfate 15 mg S.R. T.I.D I recently was on methadone and prednesone, but I believe one cancelled out the other, or so it seemed to me. I so far do not think this will happen with the morphine and prednesone, but I have only been on the morphine four days. Is ths in the literature? (methadone canceling prednesone ) Thanks for any infrmation ## Hello, Larney! How are you feeling? Yes, you are correct. Prednisone is known to decrease the effect of Methadone due to its effect on a certain intestinal/hepatic enzyme. However, there is no such interaction listed between it and the Morphine. I am currently taking MsContin and lortab for headaches, lumbar herniations, degeneration, stenosis and sciatica and dysmennorhea I plan on moving in the next 11 months thanks for any help ## Hi, Chaos! How are you? When moving to a new area and requiring those types of medications for long-term chronic pain, you're best bet would be to establish a relationship in the new area with a PCP, then have them refer you to a pain management specialist. There are so many new regulations in place, that it's going to be hard to get the help you need, if you try to do it some other way, such as finding a doctor on your own. Learn more MS Contin details here. Learn more Lortab details here. Have you discussed it with your current doctor? They may have a colleague in that area that they can ...

I have already took my suboxone but I want to take my morphine 60 milligrams for my back pain but don't want to canceled out my suboxone. will the morphine cancel out my suboxone. ## No, it is actually the Naloxone in the Suboxone that will neutralize the Morphine, the Morphine doesn't neutralize anything. Learn more Suboxone details here. Learn more Morphine details here. If you require the Morphine for pain, why have you been prescribed Suboxone, rather than Subutex?

i have been taking morphine sulphate 90mg a day tablets.i want to start on subutex instead of the morphine sulphate tabs.i have subutex but i am worried if i take it first thing when i wake and i still have the morphine sulphate in my system i will go straight into withdrawals.is this right please help ## The Subutex only contains Buprenorphine, which is a narcotic, it does not contain the Naloxone that would throw you into withdrawals. Suboxone is the medication that contains both Buprenorphine and Naloxone. Learn more Subutex details here. I am having severe atomach pain after taking 120 mg morphine...I'm sure it's because of the pills.hoe long will this last? ## It's difficult to say, it may take a few hours to go away. That's a pretty high dosage to be taking, at once. Did your doctor prescribe that much? Stomach pain isn't a normal side effect of narcotics, usually they just cause nausea and perhaps some vomiting. Learn more Morphine details here. Did you eat or drink anything else new? Is this your first time taking Morphine?

Can you take 2 to make it 30mg ## Yes, the medication would be released into your body, just the same as if you took a 30mg extended release tablet, any fluctuation would be so slight as to not be noticeable or therapeutically significant. Learn more Morphine information here. It is not, however, safe to change your dosage without your doctor's approval, since this a narcotic and there can be risks associated with its use. Are there any other questions or comments? ## I was prescribed 15mg morphine er twice a day. I think that the night time pill disturbs my breathing at night. Can I reduce my dosage down to just one 15 mg pill in the morning? ## Maybe you should adjust the times you take your medication. My dr told me to take my morphine or Lortab at least 2 hrs before going to bed...

Recently was accused by my pain doc of using morphine and hydromorphone. I am prescribed oxycontin, oxycodone plus fioricet with codeine by my neurologist for migraines. I am not sure but was told by my pharmacist that codeine breaks down as morphine and hydromorphone in the body. I do not cheat on my medications. He also did not see the drugs he prescribes in my system which are the oxycontin and oxycodone. My only answer was I assume I had a bad migraine and had taken the fioricet/codeine. I can't take the other meds when I have a migraine due to nausea. I would really like a coposetic answer because I do not take morphine or hydromorphone. I am tired of being accused of something I haven't done. I feel if I have an answer to the break down of the codeine it would be so helpful.

small tiny pill about a lil smaller than a pinky nal if ur ver thin or about the same size it looks soluable like a dhelata 4 (morphine family) but on one side says a number five and the other side is blank ## Hi Ehmber, Based on the description provided, a round yellow pill marked with "5" on one side and blank on the other, is identified as Zyprexa Zydis (Olanzapine) 5mg; an antipsychotic medication used in the treatment of bipolar disorder, depression, and schizophrenia. Manufacturer: Eli Lilly and Company National Drug Code (NDC): 00002-4453 I'm not sure if the size is approximate to someone's pinky finger, but for your own reference, this particular pill is 9.00 mm in diameter.
