Will i fail it??? ## Hi Lil, If you were prescribed this medication then you don't have to worry about drug testing results. Simply show them your prescription prior to the test, if you're able to. If this is not your prescription, it is noted that Lorazepam (Benzodiazepines) can be detected in your urine for up to 1-6 weeks after your last dose. So in this case, you would most-likely test positive for it, unless they don't check for Benzos on a standard screening. I hope this info helps!

My Doctor had just refilled my Lorazepam for painc attacks last tuesday. I am curious as to how long this medicine (Lorazepam) will remain in my system in regards to detectability from urinalysis screening. It is prescribed, but don't want employer to know of my situation. ## It depends on how often you take them; if you just use it occasionally then it will take 48 to 72 hours to be out of your system, but if you use it every day then benzo's can stay in your urine up to 30 days. My research tells me that labs don't typically screen for specific prescription medications (that aren't narcotics). But since Lorazepam happens to be a benzo, it will likely show up on a "sensitive" test. Lorazepam can be detected by Benzodiazepines (BZO) urine drug tests.
