Is This A Percocet 10/325? (Top voted first)

I don't know if this is a Percocet 10/325 or not. It is a long white pill with M 523 on one side and 10/325 on the other.

Well first of all, the colors of pills are not proprietary, so not all Percocets are yellow, the only way to tell what it is, is to look up the imprint code. The sizes, shapes and colors of pills can vary greatly from manufacturer to manufacturer once a pill is released for generic production as there are NO regulations governing any of these things with pills. The only requirement is that each prescription drug manufactured and/or sold in the US must have unique imprints for identification purposed. So you cannot say that is isn't a Percocet just because it isn't long, oval and yellow like the ones you had.

Now, as to the next post, all Percocets contain Acetaminophen, sorry, there aren't any that contain only codeine, and Percocets DO NOT contain Codeine anyway, they contain Oxycodone.

As to the generic name for Percocet, the only real generic name would be the name of the actual active meds, which in the case of Percocet is Acetaminophen and Oxycodone.

As to this pill, it is a generic Percocet not a generic Vicodin, Vicodin contains Hydrocodone while the Percocet class of drugs contains Oxycodone.

This drug contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Oxycodone.

Now, as to the comment about Xodol, that is also not what this drug is, this is in the Vicodin class as it contains Hydrocodone, the highest amount available in these types of drugs, 10mgs.

That isn't a name for a generic of it, that is just another Brand Name from that company.

A generic Percocet M523 with 10/325 on the flip side is made by Mallinckrodt, Hazelwood,MO 63042. They are white with an oblong shape. I have the factory bottle in my hand right now. They are more effective than most others for my chronic pain.

It is a percocet. 10mg oxycodone + 325mg acetaminophen. You can look it up if you don't trust my answer.

JP, you're the one who is wrong. IP 203 are indeed Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, 5mg/325; and a generic for Percocet manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals. Just wanted to give the correct information to those who may be wondering if they've been prescribed a generic form of Percocet.

Some companies will give names to each of their products, some will just leave them under the generic names. It all depends on how they like to do it.

I just wanted to say thank you to VERWON for giving CORRECT INFO. I also wanted to say that we can ALL do that.
