No registration is required and your identity remains anonymous.I have been taking hydrocodone and oxycodone for chronic severe pain for several years and I feel completely satisfied when I can take the proper dosage established for my pain. I do not feel a need to raise the dose of this medication, once the right dose was given to me, that seemed high enough to "fix" my pain, that dose seemed to work, as long as I took it as prescribed, I was so thankful to be able to move again and not feel the serious pain getting in my way, it worked like a charm, and I really never felt any need to increase the amount or frequency of this medication even though I have taken it pretty much the same for almost 17 years, for extremely aggressive Osteoarthritis, with a lot of bone and joint damage, with fibromyalgia. I have had to have several joint replace...
i do not get relief from this pain medicine, what is the deal ## Hi baby, Unfortunately when it comes to choosing an appropriate pain medication, there's a lot of room for trial and error. If your body is accustomed to another manufacturer's versions of this, then its ineffectiveness may be attributed to the different binders/fillers that are being used in this particular tablet versus others. That's my theory anyways, given that nothing else is changed on the label when you switch between different manufacturer's brands/generics. The only thing I'd encourage patients to do in light of this, is to kindly ask the doctor to be more descriptive on the prescription he/she writes, in order to pick out a specific manufacturer that you feel works best from past personal exp...

If so, Watson lists this tablet as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Was this something ever prescribed for you? After six hours of taking hydrocodon-acetaminophen5-325 can I switch to Naproxin 500mg in order to drive safely, or should I wait longer? ## Hello, Rose! How are you? How is the Hydrocodone affecting you? Is it making you dizzy, drowsy, or making you feel high? If so, you definitely won't want to be driving, while feeling like that. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause other side effects, such as nausea, dry mouth and constipation. Otherwise, you should be able to switch, if your doctor approves. However, Naproxen is just a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so it likely won't alleviate your pain as much. Typical side effects of it may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is the...
How much hydrocodone is in a does of 5 ml hydrocodone bitarate cough syrup? Is it the same as taking a 7.5 norco tablet? ## Hello, Granny! How are you? It can vary, depending on the prescription. What dosage is listed on the label? Usually, it will have something such as 7.5/5ml or something similar that lets you know how much is in each teaspoon. Can you please post back with this information, so I can help you? Thanks! The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Oh my, I didn't realize it was that strong! So it says each 5 ml equals 10 mg of hydrocodone bitarate. So is that the same as a hydrocodone-acetaminophen 10-325 ?? #...

I live in ky. and it is very hard to find a site that will ship here.Could someone please help me out. ## Do not trust ANYONE or ANY SITE that offers a controlled substance, in your case hydrocodone, without a prescription. Pretty much goes you WILL lose 100% of the time any money spent. Not to mention, it IS illegal which I know you know that. Many people have been busted from buying through the Internet. Not only this, BUT, it is very dangerous as you don't know what you are actually getting. That's another thing that is really 100% is you will get fakes. Someone just died recently from taking "HYDROCODONE" sent from another country and the MEDS were over 50% concrete. It does not pay to buy "no prescription needed" meds online....from anyone! Please be cautiou...
I am prescribed hydrocodone for pain. I went on vacation and did not take it as prescribed because I was driving. I told the dr that i had not been taking it like i was supposed to because of the driving. but when i went back to the dr he gave me a urine test anyways. Then proceeded to say i was not taking it. The dr now will not see me anymore after me telling him that. I was truthful so now I get punished. ugh.. is this how dr's normally are. Never had this issue before.
UpdatedOK, I have a new one for you all. I just called my local (and only one in town) pharmacy to see which generic brand of Norco they carry. I am trying to get a pharmacy lined up for next month's refill so I don't get stuck with the one making me sick. They told me that they cannot share that information until I have a prescription on file with them (a new one). What? That is the most unreal response I have ever had from any pharmacy. Anyone else have this problem? ## I've been told that as well when asking about the manufacturer for generic Xanax. The reason I was asking was because I discovered one brand didn't work for me at all, upsetting me quite a bit one month. I was wary of being stuck with that brand again. I know they say all generics are the same, but through exp...
What is the difference in the fillers of a white Watson hydrocodone 10/650 and blue qualitest10/650 with imprint m361 ## Hi Jack, From what I can tell, there's not really a big difference in the binders/fillers found in each of those medications. But perhaps enough to warrant a different reaction in some people who may have sensitivities to genetically modified ingredients, such as corn starch. Hopefully the lists below can help give you an idea of what you're actually putting in your body with either medication... The inactive ingredients contained in "M361" (10/650) are: crospovidone magnesium stearate cellulose microcrystalline povidones starch corn silicon dioxide stearic acid The inactive ingredients contained in "Watson 503" (10/650) are: anhydrous lactose ...

what is it? - cytochrome pathway cp-450; etc ## Hello, David! How are you? They are a superfamily of proteins which contain a heme cofactor, so they are hemoproteins. They use various large and small molecules in substrates of enzymatic reactions. Human CYPs are primarily membrane associated proteins that are located in the inner membrane of mitochondria or in the endoplasmic reticulum. They are the major enzymes involved in drug metabolism, they actually account for about 75% of it. Most drugs undergo deactivation from CYPs, either directly or through excretion from the body. Some drugs can increase or decrease their activity. This could cause you not to absorb enough of any given medication or to absorb too much of it. A good example to use is the antiseizure medication Phenytoin, sin...
Hydrocodone of any form is impossible for me to find and I know I'm not the only person since the law changed. But it has to be somewhere?? Does anyone know a way to get it in Houston? ## Hello, Emily! How are you? If you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis for the treatment of pain, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. A general practice doctor won't be able to prescribe it for you, due to the new regulations that were set forth by the DEA last year. The FDA lists this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly that might be able to refer you to someone? If so, th...
May I ask if there is really heroin in any amount of a hydrocodone m 367 10 mil? I suspect my son to be abusing it. ## No, it is a completely different substance from hydrocodone, they are both opiates but that's all they have in common, hydro is a much much weaker form of opiate ## No, that is a Schedule I drug, which means that it has no medical use by the DEA. It is an illegal substance and is not in any prescribed medications.

Rescheduling hydrocodone/APAP combos to CII seems to have mixed results. I believe that it was the ignorance of the use of liver damage with exceeding 4,000.mg of acetaminophen and not necessarily the abuse opioid factors. Your thoughts. ## Prescription meds containing Tylenol, where limited to a max of 325 mg of tylenol effective Jan 2014. Rescheduling hydrocodone combination meds became effective Oct 6 2014. There is no connection because drugs are scheduled according to their risk for abuse and addiction. ## Continuing thoughts on the previous post: The way they schedule drugs "according to risk for abuse/addiction" should in my opinion, be reconsidered on many accounts. 1st being that addictive behavior only stems from those individuals who are not disciplined in their decis...
