Hydrocodone By Mallickrodt

If anyone else is experiencing this junk hydrocodone by Mallinckrodt please complain to the FDA and also to the headquarters of whatever pharmacy you use. I find it absolutely crazy that this seems to be the only brand on the market anymore. You may as well just take a Tic Tac because these things do absolutely nothing for pain.

And if it doesn't make you sick as hell like me, you need more for pain control and they maybe able to sell more. It did very little for pain. Kaiser here in Sacramento California switched to Mallinckrodt in 2017, more profit. Prior Kaiser had Qualitest [yellow] generic Norco which worked very good for pain control but profit is the #1 priority, not pain management...
My daughter is a PA who practiced in pain management. One thing she learned in school and from several pharmacist friends is this and it applies to all generics: they are required to have only 70% of the active ingredient no matter what anyone lies to u about! There is now question that drugs coming from overseas and India, most drugs, may well not even that. Some were suspected tested to 50% yet nothing can be done because cannot prescribe more and insurance will not pay more or for name brands. By contract no one may tell u this!!!
Re: VerFree (# 1)
Yes. This is Mallinckrodt is the generic brand of norco that all the big national pharmacies order because they are cheap and easy to order. I experienced no pain relief and caused headaches as compared to other generic brands. Most of these genetics that they get now are outsourced and made in either India or China... FDA allows up to 20% fillers . However, I don’t think these are under the FDA radar as much as the ones made here. Yes report any bad experience to FDA and Pharmacist.

Do a little research on this site, there are tons of complaints about this product. It made me very sick... "Hydrocodone-acetaminophen 10/325 By Mallinckrodt"
Not every generic medication works well for everyone that tries it, unfortunately. It has also recently been discover that the inactive ingredients may not be as inactive as they originally thought according to this Science Alert article.
As far as I'm aware, it is not the only product available, however, they might be the company that has most recently been offering the cheapest price through your pharmacy's distributor.
The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
I've had good experiences with this medication from Mallinckrodt, but I rarely take opioids, so I am most likely not a good judge.
Has anyone else had problems with the medication from this manufacturer?
