How Long For Klor Con20 To Ease Symptoms?

Hi! Ive been feeling not quite myself Over the past week. Nausea, headaches, profusely sweating at random times, out of breath, cramp in calf for 2 full days, anxiety... I just this morning realized my potassium is probably out of whack. I have some klorcon20 that i had been prescribed last time this happened.
Anyone know an average of how long it takes it to start easing symptoms?
Ive been on prednisone for 10 days and wondering if that could've triggered this?

I am very sorry about how you're feeling.

However, there is a chance that the symptoms you're experiencing are actually due to the Prednisone and not low potassium.

Thus, before taking the supplements, it would be best to have it checked out by your doctor. Taking too much potassium can be just as dangerous as not taking enough.

Other side effects of Prednisone, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include insomnia, fluid retention, acne and weight gain.
