I will be taking Levofloxcin 500mg for 10 days. How long will it remain in my system after finishing the medicine?

I experience the same thing only took five pills and have muscle weakness in the legs now I'm having severe anxiety attacks it's been a month and I'm still having them and I stop the medication

I am equating another symptom to levaquin...when I begin having the problem with my joints, specifically my knees after taking it, my feet starting swelling and continued to do so all winter and now also. Taking fluid pills, elevating them, etc. Nothing seemed to help. I now read that the is a side-effect. The nurse practicioner that was giving my shots for my knees seems to think that the levaquin injured my tendons. It's now been almost two years.

I went to the ER for severe chest pain, where they diagnosed me with bronchitis. I am 27 with a history of asthma. Unfortunately they ignored that information given. The doctor prescribed levaquin 750mg for 10 days. The first day I had negative thoughts roaming in the back of my mind, fatigue, insomnia, headaches, dry mouth, loss of appetite, constipation, physical weakness, chest papulations, confusion, anxiety, and depression. Just after the third day I stopped this antibiotic. Two weeks later, I had a yeast infection and the symptoms still occurred on and off. I hate that I had to go through such metal and physical stress. I now add this medication, and anything remotely related to it on my allergy list.

I experienced the same thing. I lost my apetite which made me pushing the food in my mouth just to recover some energy. I never experienced such an anxiety it feels like if you lost someone you love it made me worry the whole time specially at night and morning! Anyone experienced the same?

I also experienced a shaking like symptom inside my body from taking levaquin for a month and some hair loss. I stopped taking it a month ago and feel much better. Th hair loss is still occurring but not as bad. When I brush my hair more than normal excess hair in brush but slowly getting better.

SAME symptoms here. I feel like my left shoulder is not staying in the socket and the muscle pain everywhere is nearly unbearable. Can't EVEN lift my left arm.

I was on levofloxacin and metronizadole for 10 days for diverticulitis and just finished yesterday. I am 63 and I hated the Anxiety I felt. Doesn’t sound as bad as yours, but it was making me feel Strange and Scared and every day, I Never want to Ever take these again. I hope you start feeling much better.

I had the first bladder infection of my lifetime. I'm 79 yrs old. My doctor put me on Levofloxacin 500 mg twice/day. On the 3rd day my calves started to hurt where it was difficult to walk, then both shoulders were painful and popped. My knees also hurt. I finished my 7 day dose, but think the prescription was way too strong for me to be taking. Finished the med 2 days ago. My calves, shoulders and knees still hurt just as bad. I'm wondering if the tendons are torn.

I am never taking this again either. I took it for 14 days. 750 mg. I took my last one yesterday.
I absolutely feel horrible, today.

I've been taking Levofloxacin for 14 days. 750mg. I have had anxiety. And I feel such brain fog it's not even funny. I have the nerve pain in my hands. Since I am a hair stylist this has been really hard. I hope all the side effects go away soon.
