Gastric Bypass And Viibryd

I love this medicine as far as my depression and mood go but I’m having major stomach pain when taking it. I had diarrhea for a few days on the 20 mg but then when I went up to 20 mg that went away and the gnawing burning stomach pain is here. It’s day 3 of 20 mg and I’m curled up in a ball in bed. I’m not sure I can stick this out but really want to if it’ll go away. Is there anything I can take to help with pain? I’ve noticed fasting helps a little but with my bypass I’m not sure what else is ok.

I'm sorry, but you said you went from 20mgs to 20mgs, which I believe to be a typo. What was the original dosage you were taking?

Stomach pain, diarrhea, headache, dry mouth, and stomach irritation can be normal side effects of this medication.

What are the markings on the tablet in question?

Are you on any other medications?
