Bupe is a specific test. The lab must test for it on its own otherwise, you should be ok unless they're requesting them to.test for it. Its an expensive test but with parole, hot pisses, and such, you neber know.

Hey girl, just checking in, wanted to let you know i joined a methadone clinic since my sub dr kicked me out for not doing his own job. He told me i cant take tramadol anymore after taking it for 6 months while in his sub program and he now tells me i cant. Ok agreed. Said hed kick me out if he finds it in my next screening. Called me three days before that screening which i would have passed cause i stopped, but kicked me out without even letting me test, let alone fail. I took it for my pain. Now on methadone and it deff helps with pain where the subs did not. So i am way better now on that then i ever was on subs. Just sucks my ins doesnt cover this like the subs so im out of pocket on this but happier. Cant put a price there. But hows it going for you? I see ur still here helping and staying on top of people. Good woman you are. Well i do hope all is good ur way. Since they wont let us give contact info on here this is the only way i can contact you. Do not take suboxone while on probation. Im on house arrest and failed my urina analysis and almost got locked up. Trust me do not do any drugs. Stay clean and finish your time. Youll be able to get as f***ed up as you want afterwards.

Just tell Dr that the strips irritate under your tongue and you read online that the tablets do not do that. I did same thing with my Dr.

Yeah that's the reason for no definitive answer some do and some don't. My local probation office does, and we're pretty rural, but a county over they might not.

lol maybe two years ago but they definitley test for it now in New Hampshire. I'm not sure where you live but probation/parole in this state without a doubt tests for bupe.

No problem, it depends a lot on the certain company you're applying at too.
Some take their regulations as doctrine and don't deviate and the more 'outlaw' companies don't and will even warn you about upcoming 'random' tests.
Just do what you think is right. You know better then us who you're dealing with! And yes, there are a lot of meds that won't inhibit your functionality in anyway but that's not the same case for everyone and that's where the company liability fall in.
Let us know what happens either way, your experience could help someone else in the future!

Thanks for your responses guys. Just to let u know it doesn't say "do not operate heavy machinery" it says "use with card when operating heavy machinery" that is a huge difference. Regardless I know and anyone who takes this drug by itself with nothing else knows that it doesn't effect your reactions or judgment at all. The problem is I know that but they don't. Still on the fence with what I'm going to do though. Anyways thanks Guys

That's a kind of serious situation and I really don't want to give you advice either way because it can turn out a couple different ways.
My information with this is coming from working with CDL drivers and their warehouse forklift and machinery operators. I'm sure you're asking because you know that there's a reason it says 'do not operate heavy machinery' on your prescription bottle, and it's a good reason.
You will have other lives in your hands while performing your job duties, and one) if there is ever an accident down the road and you were found to have hidden your prescription from the hiring company, the company and you will be held liable and open to a lawsuit.
Two) most heavy machine or application for CDL positions DO test for bupe and any other narcotic, from my experience these drivers/workers are given the option to either completely stop using subs/opiates and even certain blood pressure/heart medicine or find a different job.
You know as well as I do, what it entails to lie on an application. Whether it's two weeks or ten years after hiring, if you're found out your in for losing ANY benefits you've earned, as well with any subsequent unemployment from your termination and could be held liable under law.
Be careful where your treading here, it's more consequential then just getting hired.

Uncle A, my opinion is dont say anything, if they find it, act completely shocked like you were for certain they knew considering the letter u have for the script "has been handed in with all applications and resumes" you have been doing and u think it must be there and ask them to recheck and if its not (u know it wont) then u will submit one without hesitation. Ask for a reprint of ur script paper work or bottle label from pharmacy. Sometimes the machinery label isnt there or u can take that sticker off. Just a couple suggestions. Let them know if they must end up seeing that label, it has to be put on if even 1 percent have ever had an issue but less than 5 percent even have and u can promise ur not in that percentage. Thats if they even ask about that warning label. Not an expert but i have been a recruiting officer and worked in HR. And thats what i would personally do. Anything else i can help with?
