Diane 35 - Spotting For 3 Days (Top voted first)

Hi. I'm Sara. I'm 35 years old. It was my first time taking diane 35 contraceptive. I was worried because I have spotting now and I still have 2 tablets; not yet finished. I want to ask if this is normal or not?

Yes, that can be a normal side effect and may continue for about 3 months, or so, while your body adjusts to this medication. As reported by the U.S. FDA you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

If it continues beyond 3 months, or if the bleeding gets heavy, you should consult your doctor as it may not be the right oral contraceptive for you to take and you may need to try a different one.

Hi. I had an unprotected intercourse and the same day I started taking diane 35 - for a period of 3 days. On the 4th-5th day I forgot to take it and then I took it on the 6th day. What are the chances of getting pregnant?
