Cymbalta Stopped Working. Now What? (Top voted first)
UpdatedI took Cymbalta for about 10 years, and it seemed to help with a lot of my depression symptoms. I had to increase the dose over time, and maxed out at 120mg. But the last year or two I was taking it, it just didn't seem to do much anymore, and my depression had gotten worse as well.
Has anybody been in the same boat? If so, would love to know if you've found something else that works well for you.

It is normal for a medication to stop working as well for you, over time. Your body basically builds up a tolerance to them, which results in your needing a higher dosage, or medication change, according to FDA warnings.
Have you consulted your doctor? Are you on any other medications?

Do not quit this drug suddenly. You must taper off or you will have some had withdrawals
