Ciprofloxacin & Methadone

Is it dangerous to mix methadone & ciprofloxacin, & if so what would be the percentage rate of those who could be affected???

This combination of medications is actually not recommended, because the additive effects may cause QT prolongation and cardiac arrhythmia.

There are no specifics on a percentage rate of how many people might be affected, however, if this has made it into the drug warnings, then a pretty high number of people had to have experienced it.
